Club Car Introduces Lithium Ion Golf Car Technology - The Tempo LI-ON
Club Car is the world's largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles. Club Car has been producing industry leading innovative vehicles for over 60 years; the company initially focused on golf cars and has since expanded to commercial vehicles and transportation vehicles.
Club Car's offering now includes a Golf Car for all requirements from the range topping Tempo LI-ON, Tempo lead acid batteries and petrol variants to the long standing trusted Precedent model which at its launch date back in 2004 changed the golf car market. The Precedent is offered in lead acid and petrol variants.
Fleet golf is the largest market and the Club Car Tempo & Precedent deliver above and beyond both golf and fleet operator, with a rustproof chassis and a Monsoon Top ™ canopy that can handle rain water better than anyone else.
The Precedent i3 takes golf cars to a new place by having Connected technology, this gives features like an electronic scorecard, and GPS Zone messaging that can be set to promote pro shop deals, food and beverage sales, and more.
Key vehicle information is also included standard; check current mileage or amp hours, battery status and more on a single car or the entire fleet from the pro shop or a smartphone anywhere.
The Tempo Connect & Precedent i3 fleet continues to deliver — Car Tracking, Car Control, Tournament Software, 3D Flyovers and enhanced Golfer Experience let you track every car’s movement, create no-go zones to protect greens, tees and bunkers, set cart path-only parameters, broadcast real-time leader boards in every car, and much more.
The Visage™ Mobile Golf Information System is the latest in a long line of technical advances that improve the golfer's experience and help courses operate more efficiently.

In addition to golf cars Club Car produce a full range of utility vehicles, the Carryall range and Personnel Carrier’s the Villager or Transporter range.
